Have a Sony @100 and would love to get some recommendations for a flash but on a tight budget.

Willing to wait but would love recommendations on what to look for.

Not a professional obviously but love being an amateur!

    Snap happy as they say.

I used to have the alpha and about a year ago I did a ton of research into available flash guns. Dont go for the sony branded one because its over priced for what it does. I had finally settled on getting a sigma http://www.cameraexchange.ie/flash_speedlights.htm the 530DG Super, but they didnt have them in stock and im still waitin on them to ring me when they do. :) The difficulty in getting accessories and lenses for the alpha was the reason i sold it and switched to the Nikon D80. Hopefully you're not havin the same trouble in tracking these shy accessories down! :D

They are but, again, seem difficult to get a hold of in Dublin. I guess you could buy over internet but i jst wouldnt trust having something like a flash gun being sent through the post. Even a fragile sticker wouldnt help!

I guess, I did get macro lens on ebay, cheap enough and came well protected.

I think I need to go into a few places down here and ask around.

    Thanks

Got a 580EX from Kerso compliments of the wife for my birthday recently. Arrived in perfect working order. No issue if the source is reliable!

I think it's due to him constantly updating the site. I've seen it happen a few times with Kea too.

Yeah, notice that as I was looking for a price on something. Sent him a mail and go his out of office so to speak. He was away on hols, and only got back at the end of last week.

Mail him and he'll get you whatever you want.
