    Hi all,

I'm looking for recommendations on a tracking device please. I did a quick forum search there that didn't really turn up much.

I''m hoping to find out how the work, how you track the car, the cost and the names of a few vendors/installers.

    Any info greatly appreciated :)

Would be interested to find some info on this too. Would there be a device you could get pinpoint tracking on a vehicle with and by any chance, is there a way you can get a "route history" option, that will log exactly where it is 24/7 and exactly where it has gone, so you can see on a map for example, lines and if you zoom in it will show you when it has been on a certain road and at what time etc, and also if there is a location alert, so if it's passing by a certain location, you can get alerted by text/email/whatever.

Not sure if you'd be interested in that too Magnolia?

I'm more interested in being able to find the car if it was stolen. The more info on these system the better though :)

Depends on the purpose - if it's for fleet monitoring stuff, Mobil-I are your best bit out in swords.

As I recall the unit itself runs at about 800 quid, plus whatever their fee is per year...
