Hi, been thinking about playing some online poker for real money instead of play, just small time, but am wondering what sites offer the quickest withdrawal methods for an Irish based player?

Probably Stars if you just want a cheque but to be honest, that should be the last question to ask before starting to play for cash.

Laser card withdrawals are probably best(fastest) if you have one.
Not sure which sites accept them, but check out the irish based sites for quick withdrawals. I have a mastercard which you can't withdraw back to so don't know how fast visas are. I think Boyle and Ladbrokes allow you to withdraw cash in betting shops.
Some irish based sites: Paddypowerpoker, GreenJokerPoker, Boylesports, Ladbrokes(Really UK based, but bookies in Ireland), Irish Eyes, VCpokerireland.
Can't think of any more off hand, but check the sites for withdrawal options.

just looked at ladbrokes and they do debit card withdrawals, so what does that mean? they credit funds to your laser card, ie your bank account? is this right and if so how long before you can access them?

you're thinking a bit too far in advance, it may never be an issue.
