I don't know where you heard the bad rep from, I've only ever heard good things myself. And being a proud G&G owner I couldn't recommend them higher. Easily one of the best companies out there. I'd put them on a par with VFC on most of their line.

I heard their M14s had crappy internals on some forums like arnies but after reading those review on the rks I want one even more. I just hope 74 wood grips will fit:eek:.

theres a few bad G&G reviews on american sites that ive seen, i got the feeling they might be getting different stuff to the stuff we get or else they just tarning G&G with a reputation from some of the old crap from years ago.,

From any G&G ive opened in recent months the internals are second to none, and i have enough high ends to compare them with and all.,
the body quality on them is beautiful too although they usually dont have trades, ive been using my CQB-S for months and to look at the thing it could pass for new. tonys getting in a big G&G order in eirsoft and already im down for the CQB-H and probably the R300 and UMP aswell., thats how much i like it.,:)

Yeah I'm using the SR25 and I'm most likely gonna be picking up the UMP and maybe a long sometime soon too. The finish on them is flawless as far as I can tell. There's a nice balance to them and they just feel right to use.

Sorry for the double post, is the sr25 as heavy as people say it is? and is it accurate enough to be a 'sniper' rifle? it either the sr25 or the rk or both!:p

i actually fine it pretty light., its only semi auto though so you'd have to be sure its right for your playing style.,

In of itself, it's not amazingly heavy, about the same as an m14. But with the amount of rails on it, the temptation is to stick everything you can onto it. Mine weighed 16lbs at one stage.
It is accurate, but it's damn long and with semi only on it, it's not to everyones tastes.

an m14 might be a better option for you? has the long rangeandfull autoifyou need it.
very good gun for the sniper role too.

i will say that if you were to go with the m14 and wanted it for the sniper role, a good buy would be a step back scope mount as the rail section on the m14 is a bit forward for normal mounts. a mount with an angle on it that slopes back will make mounting a nice rifle scope alot asier and looks dam cool aswell. dont have a link to one but MIA has them too. igot one today for my m14.

The only bad thing I've heard about G&G is that the metal alloy they use to make the stock tang on their AK's is weak and can snap (Well I've actually seen pictures of snapped ones on Red Alliance.) Beyond that I haven't really heard anything bad.
