    Hello all,

I know this has been covered a million times before but I cant sem to find the answers I am looking for.

My situation is this, I split my time between Ireland and England. I run a business in the UK and have lived there for over 16 years. Of course I have the usual documents like a National Insurance number and a UK Driving licence.

I also have an Irish PPS number and am registered for VAT here.

I want to now bring my car over here (Ireland). What do I need to have to prove I have owned the car for over 6 months in the UK?

I have the v5 (logbook) Insurance and tax. What else do I need to show them?

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks.

Do you spend more than half the year living in the UK? You will need to have the car registered in your name for longer than 6 months anyway, you will need utility bills, bank statements etc...
