    Hi,

A friend of mine was recently the victim of an amazon Scam, where bascially he bought a (Too) cheap game that was never delivered, when he contacted Amazon ther said the seller had disappeaerd.

I would like to know what guarantees online selling sites have i.e seller A lists hundreds of products with no intention of supplying them, transfers the proceeds to their account, withdraws the lot and sticks two fingers up to everyone.

What comebacks would the likes of eBay / Amazon have on these scammers, surely they could pursue these criminals somehow, any thoughts?

Might get a better response if posted in online buying & auctions forum http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=583

thats why i always buy from powersellers from ebay. you have to weigh odds. Powerseller may be expensive but they take care or reputation.
