eircom POP3 timeout question!

I wonder if anyone could give me some help here! In my office, we use the eircom POP3 server - mail2.eircom.net and we can download our emails fine. We have offices worldwide, but one of our offices (in Abuja, Nigeria!), gets massive timeouts when trying to access this mail server. Other Irish mail servers can be accessed…

I wonder if anyone could give me some help here!

In my office, we use the eircom POP3 server - mail2.eircom.net and we can download our emails fine. We have offices worldwide, but one of our offices (in Abuja, Nigeria!), gets massive timeouts when trying to access this mail server. Other Irish mail servers can be accessed from this office with no problems.

I have a feeling that the cause of this could be IP address back off timer blocking on the mail server. The problem is, who do you contact in Eircom about this?
