Can anybody recommend a good registry cleaner? We've COM+ stuff running in the background built in VB6 and I've f*cked up the binary compatibility

I have used RegClean on numerous occasions fixing COM+ issues

Run it a coupe of time to ensure it gets everything :)

I used work in a software house with all VB6/COM+ components. We never used regclean (forget the exact reasons but basicly it could fup things up more than it helped).

Regmaid was what we used and it never gave a problem.

how did you screw the binary compatibility?

cleaning the registry may not help in this case and may actually make it worse

do you have the original dlls?
