I've been going mad trying to remember this show from a few years (5 or 6) back

Basically it was all about this high powered executive, who did mergers and all that kind of stuff

the story was that there was a bit of an "american psycho" thing going on, he'd kill someone to get ahead....there was also a reference to an abusive childhood

the other thing i remember is that despite haveing a massive gaff, he used to sleep b***s naked in a carboard box, with a hole cut out so he could see the TV?

Is this ringing any bells with anyone?

Sounds like Profit to me, but the cardboard box ruins that theory...

You're damn right it WAS Profit,

I though i was going crazy with the cardboard box thing but i found this in Wikipedia

    Characters and actors

Jim Profit (Adrian Pasdar) - born James Stakowski, he was raised in a cardboard G&G shipping box with the television on at all hours by an abusive father in Tulsa, Oklahoma, until he set his father on fire and ran away. The experience left him with a complete hatred of TV and a desire to insinuate himself into the G&G family by any means necessary...but he still sleeps in a G&G shipping box in a secret room of his apartment. Worked in Auditing before ascending to junior-vice president of Acquisitions. He intends to climb the corporate ladder at G&G by secretly engineering the ruin of those who stand in his way and/or refuse to assist him.

It was in 1996? I'm getting old......

Ah... I remember this show now... I was always wondering what I'd seen Nathan out of Heroes in before.

I think it was one of Sky One's launch shows. If I remember correctly, they showed an awful lot of first run US shows that year that never lasted.
