Ok, you’re sitting at home one evening as night draws slowly in. You’ve been off work sick recently and have been engrossed in GTA4 at the expense of TV or internet.

Without realising why you suddenly become aware of the plaintive sound of moaning and rustling coming from outside your sitting room window.

You stand up and walk to the window and twitch back your curtains. Just outside you see a great shambling horde of grey, foot dragging, figures lumbering ungainly past. Arms flail wildly and the strange keening sound seems to drill into your ears as they shuffle along blundering into each other.

“Shit,” says you, “it’s not the GAA final and I don’t live anywhere near Croke Park so I doubt that’s just crowds of people milling around after having one too many.”

You realise this can only mean one thing. All those people on boards were right. It’s the Zombie Apocalypse. (You sometimes jump to conclusions)

Anyway as you gather your pathetic survival kit (that you never really finished because you didn’t think you’d need it) you need to console yourself by thinking of all the people in worse places than you are.

What’s the one place you’d hate to be in at this moment?

For me it would have to be in a hospital. Jeez imagine, people reanimating all over the place while you’re trying to deal with an infection more virulent and easily passed than hepatitis.

    *Shudder*

Hospital - Imagine trying to escape zombies while you have the MRSA bug. No fun.

Middle of Nowhere - Miles from a town (maybe you were camping of something) you can only run from the ****ers for so long. They dont have to stop and rest and they cant be fatigued.

Graveyards would also be a bad place to be.

walking up in your tent at a music festival....lets say oxygen.

you wouldnt have your zombie survival kit (Damn security guards)

you would have f**k all food...probably be dehydrated and still a little drunk from the night before.

nowhere secure to hide/fortify....and loads of zombies roaming around outside.:eek:

(mods does that count as a MCD reference and have to be edited? )

A locked mortuary would be pretty bad

Then again, what were you doing in a locked mortuary in the first place.......

Hospitals, mortituarys, doctors and churches would be the worst places to be during the outbreak.

Hospitals, mortituarys and doctors for obvious reasons; but churches is where people would gather in these circumstances and would be a breeding ground.

This eventuality was covered in the movie Demons. It certainly didn't work out too well for the survivors

Driving up and down the aisles on a motor bike hacking at the zombies with a samurai sword while the music of Saxon plays may help but unfortunately not all cinemas have a samurai sword and motor bike lying about in their lobby.

I would have thought it obvious the worst place to be would be a shopping mall.

    Anywhere with massive crowds:

    A football stadium

A concert (with you right up at the stage so you have a huge panicing crowd AND zombies to deal with!!)

    In an airplane.

The back of a bus (presuming the emergency door is fùcked, as they usually are)

Have to be a creche....nothing to defend yourself with no sharp edges in those places.

Imagine 30 kids just become zombies

No but because they dont have to breath they can just walk though the water without having to worry about drowning.

I'll have to agree, a brain factory is the worst place.

Man! I remember seeing that film when I was a teenager. I had no idea it was written by Dario Argento. Certainly brings back a few memories!

The worst place to be would be in a night club at 3am. You'd be so wasted you wouldn't notice the difference in anyone and any zombie chick coming at you, you'd probably hop on them for a quick feel and get more than you bargained for.
