    Hey bought an 02 Audi A4 2L a few months ago just wonder how much a basic service should cost?

    Independent or Franchise dealer or DIY job?

    Is it diesel or petrol, how many miles on the car.

    Its petrol, 71,000 miles I was going to go to an independent.

    my brothers have 01 and 04 models, and they usually get charged around 90 - 120 euro for a service....from an independent garage i might add

    i got a quote from finglas auto parts to service the GF's civic, the usual, oil, oil filter, plugs, and air filter and a quick look around everything else for 150 euro.

    my mate is geting his 2003 BMW 318Ci intermediate service done in AC cars just off the SCR next week for 180 euro, but they are a BMW specialist ith all the diagnostic equip etc etc so i think thats very good considering.

    i suppose it all depends where you go.
