Why is it that iDVD wont compress movies to fit on a 4.7gb disk... Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't...

Was trying to do a dvd last night and not only would it not fit on the disc it kept putting the movie in 4:3... The menu was 16:9 but the movie went to 4:3 even tho I encoded it in 16:9...

Ended up using Toast in the end which kept it in 16:9 and compressed it enough... Only prob is the Toast menus are pants compared to the iDVD ones...

If I burn a movie to a DVD can I pull the VOB files off it and use them in iDVD?? Really want to use the iDVD menus as they're pretty slick...

Although I must try that DVD2One... If it can do a movie in 30mins Id be damn impressed
