Asus Eee Touchscreen

    Has anyone here got a modded Asus Eee with a touchscreen as I am considering getting one.

    Also as I am not confident enough to open the laptop and install myself is there any here that can do a good job, I am willing to pay as I dont want to damage the machine myself.

    I dont know if you'll find anyone here that can help you, but i would have to ask why you would bother? It's not like you can flip the screen tablet style, it's really just a gimmick. Do you have an EEE pc already? If not i have seen eee pcs with touch screens pre installed on ebay, they were the 701 models, not too sure if they're still on the go or not but it might be worth checking out.

    Basically I am going to use it in the car and at work.

    GPS with Garmin Mobile for PC

    And Multimedia, I have constructed a car mount so it will be interesting.
