Does anyone know of a good lcd tv repair service? Story behind it is I got a tv repaired then had the same fault so the manufacturer replaced it- but I still have the old one so I'd like to see if I could get it fixed?

While Im not saying you wont find anyone to fix it , what I will say is that there is a reason the manufacturer replaced it rather than repaired it.

Unless the fault is something really simple like a broken joint or a psu problem , the TV is most likely beyond repair or at least not worth doing financially.

Modern manufacturing techniques rely on heavy automation and custom made, surface mount , high pin count ASICs , while this enables companies to produce more sophisticated products at affordable prices , it also pretty much rules out all but the simplest general repair work on these items and this is very much the case with LCD TV's.

If its any kind of serious problem the set is only good for recycling Im afraid.
