What would you put as the worst night club in the country in regard to value for money? I would put the Queens in Ennis. The place is totally run down, the acoustics are crap, i.e. there is no base, most of the lights on the carrousel over the dance floor are either out of action or the bulbs are blown. They have a RGB laser which very rarely sees haze or smoke. The DJ's are good and play up to date stuff and I would know most of them. Most of the crowd that go there would probably not notice any of the defects as they were probably never in a real night club or else they are too pis**ed to notice it as most of them drink before they go there.

Never went to a night club to admire the lights, long as the tunes are good and the girls are dancing, I am happy. Haven't been to the Queens in years, but the girls were certainly dancing last time I was there.

I would have a good eye/ear for the effects and accoustics at a night club because this is my job. It goes against my grain to see a business run a place like this and just because there is little or no competition they can get away with it for so long.

I was a regular at the Queens with my ex until about four years ago and just went back recently just to spot if there was any changes. The place was totaly unchanged, (Except for additional pay in booths) not so much as a lick of paint. We were told that the place was due a major overhaul several years ago and nothing so far has happened.
