    Hi.
Just reading the feudin' thread there and someone linked to the Bubbles vs Admins/Mods thread.
This guy Bubbles sounds like an intriguing character.

The impression i'm getting is he was a kinda resident Andy Kaufman figure for Boards back in the day- a constant hilarious (but unpredictable) thorn in the side of authority.
Would that be a fair descripton? :)

Can anyone fill me in as to why exactly he is so infamous- and why exactly he was banned in that thread (he WAS banned in that thread wasn't he  ).
That newsletter was fairly funny- why was it bannable.

Then there's all this crazy stuff about him in the Wiki- funny but presumably most of it is bull$hit is it?

I too found the newsletter hilarious. I also pissed myself laughing at the whole 'CD burner' thing, though can't imagine it would have been too funny to have been on the receiving end!

    Not really.

    One of my favourites.

The mention of Bubbles brings great dismay to the force of boards.

After taking control of a girl's account on MSN got a guy to get a 40 euro taxi-ride into Dublin (and back home again) at 3:30am in the morning to meet up for "sex".

I believe that one was my fav by far.
How could anyone be that naive!?
Though I suppose, only one 'brain' can work at a time.

I expect the Admins to swoop down any second to nuke you from the face of the planet because you have mentioned the unmentionable.

A jesus another thread about *******. He will love this.
All the stuff was funny with hindsight, ... and funny at the time.
Yeah the trekkie lad borrowing money from his friend(only enough for one way), and getting the taxi into town(from Kildare), then bubbles phoning him up, pretending to be a girl, with the trekkie believing the whole thing all along.
All the phone conversations were put on a website with chat logs, pics and the whole story the next day. Then his ex-girlfriend was shown the site and her scathing reply was put up as well.

Pretty fúckin funny, it spread all over the web ;)

Hi achilles wanna meet up sometime?
Haha Just kidding (but seriously thats the dude.)
