80's love story simialr to the bodyguard

    I saw a movie 21 years ago (I was ~8) that has always stayed in my mind. It was about a female rockstar who had a bodyguard (maybe undercover police protection) and they fell in love....sounds shallow but it was really romantic and all i know is that she was a gorgeous blonde and the movie would have been circa '85.
    OK theres not much to go on there but if anyone had any suggestions on how I might find out the name of this movie i would really appreciate it.

    I know it's not the film you described but the fantastic Streets of Fire is somewhat similar.

    are you sure it's not the bodyguard, cause that is way too close for the same film to be done twice?

    actually i think she wears a wig sometimes in the film to go incognito

    Haha, maybe. But the bodyguard is from the 90's... curiouser and curiouser...

    You can search www.imdb.com by keyword. I'm sure a look through their results for bodyguard will help

    Funny, the movie "The Bodyguard" doesn't actually have the keyword bodyguard!

    doesn't say a whole lot for the imdb search tool then.
    and yes this movie does bear an uncanny resemblance to the bodyguard....unless i have merged my memories into one distorted package :eek:
