NTL Speed problems

Hi, just a quicky for you all.

Over the last few days I've noticed terribled speeds on NTL to anything outside of the country. I'm on their 12 meg package, based in Dublin and I'm getting full speed to anything within the country - but only getting 3mbit down from the UK and Europe and about 1mbit down from the states for the last few days...

Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah I did not notice it , but someone else in the house did. On top of that last night and tonight we are getting connection drops, and I am getting dropped from Vent even more frequently. Its happening again tonight aswell, just started dropping from Vent again, and youtube is useless at this moment in time.

Ditto, been getting connection drops the last 30 minutes. Connection went down for a few brief periods around 1am last night too.

Second hop on tracert is fked for me ...
Either pings out or pings something stupid like 3219ms

Can confirm this from several people I know on NTL with similar problems at the moment.

Yah same here.
Anything in the Netherlands is laggy as hell.

im in cork and I cant keep a constant connection for more than 2 mins tonight, but before that, for about a month is been dodgey. Getting d/c every so often. This happened about a year ago too, but for many months it has been perfect and now the poop is back

This is VERY annoying, I am trying to play a match now, and keep getting disconnected from Ventrilo! Yes I am a nerd, and I am not ashamed to admit it !!


At least this problem would appear to be nation-wide so they should fix it fairly quickly.

Same problem here tonight trying to stream internet radio and I keep on dropping the connection.

Strangely enough I was getting disconnected more from Vent then the game. In a match though, vent is just as important as the game .
