HEA funding for distance courses?

Hey, I'm thinking of applying to a university abroad to do a distance learning course (either at GDip or MSc level, I'm not entirely decided yet). Will the HEA provide grants to cover fees and/or maintenance for courses like this?

They don't for distance learning courses in Ireland so I doubt it.
