Multi room audio setup

I was wondering if someone could recommend a good amp and speaker setup for 3-4 rooms so that we can have the same audio playing throughout (or not, as appropriate) I'm guessing seperates are the way to go in this regard. Its for my dad so amazing sound quality is not too high priority, but simplicity is!!!
