APS-3 Accurate airsoft gun??

I got my MP5 GBB today from Airsoft advantage.
Thanks guys Pics and review at the weekend!
Nice also to see they supplied their own IAA A4 sheet of paper
with Airsoft and common sense advise!!! Great Idea!. +1

Also included with my delivery was a APS Gear catalog.
Air Precision shooting Equipment by Maruzen?
It was not in english but from looking at the Pics it looks like
the airsoft gear was designed to be Accurate and used for indoor competitions????

They have a pistol that looks like an Olympic style pistol called the APS-3
looks like its a lever pump operated pistol and also some rifles.

Found the Pistol on Redwolf and it appears the FPS is legal for us:
    http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=22241

Now what I am wondering is.....will something like this be like a normal GBB or springer
or could it actually be an airsoft device with an exceptionally high consistency when
it comes to point of impact when firing it.

My Goal at some stage is to acquire a piece of airsoft equipment to use indoors
that can be used to actually target shoot with a degree of accuracy and consistancy. Something that is NOT a firearm, and also will not do any damage to anything other than paper/cardboard so you can safely fire it indoors without making any modifications to your home
and without any legal complications with regards to licenses etc.

As I already own Real Firearms I would love something in Airsoft to more or less relax with and to be able to use
without even leaving to the comfort of your own home.

Something that is designed so well and
uses high quality BB's that you will know that if you can perform when it comes to
the shooting side then your equipment will shoot the BB at the same point of impact each
time. Does such equipment even exist?

Not sure how accurate it would be , but heres a clone version if you wanted to test it before forking out a lot of cash

They reckon 30mm groups at 10m at redwolf and because its air and single shot
you may have more consistency and no cool down effect.

Thanks for the Link will check it out when I get home (its blocked in work)

The clone is pneumatic and is meant to deliver the exact same fps every shot, but the barrels are said to break easily if mistreated.

Very much the sort of thing you are looking for, and on a budget.

Theres a review out there, says it has an adjustable trigger, sights etc.

    Good 'aul acm.

    Interesting topic Bullets.

Have you given any thought to something like the hunter FT events that are prevelant in another discipline in the UK?

It'd perhaps be interesting to see something like practical airsoft rifle and practical airsoft pistol and the type of airsoft device you've described may be perfect for a "precision" type event.

I'm gonna have a look at the link you posted and see what the item is like.

Like you've said, its good to be able to have a few shots without needing to leave the comfort of your own home / surroundings and airsoft really fits the bill and provides devices that are very accurate replica's of the real thing.

I wonder if there is interest in such disciplines within airsoft such as those I've mentioned above. Maybe I should start a new thresd on that topic alone?

There was some practical pistol and rifle at the hrta bday game that went down well, I enjoyed the pistol aspect. (the only time I got to fire it :D)

    Go for it.

    Oh yes,

that particular item is like some of the real item that I've used in the past.

So I can see it as being potentially very good for what you were wondering about, however like the real thing I would expect that each individual user would really want to fine tune it for their own percularities when using it.

I'll start a new thread on the practical disciplines, it'd be great to see some hunter FT stuff appear as you don't need to get shot at which may interest some participants e.g. my missus etc...:D

    Not insulted at all :)
I thought it was a fantastic Idea to include extra common sense information
with any airsoft product that you ship. All to often when peeps look
at manuals they are all written in Non-English. it shows a high regard
for the good of the sport when you see stuff like this.

beauty of a GBB. Not too impressed by the blowback and movement itself
of the GBB but the build quality is excellent. The level of detail is excellent,
the way it easily strips down is great and it operates flawlessly!
    Excellent bit of kit.
