, but from the little bits I have seen and from what I've read style is very much Munster like...

Watched a few Waratahs games in the s14 this year, tbh...the waratahs play pretty standard s14 style rugby...ruck,tackle,run, ruck tackle run...snore....Rubbish scrum, no real set piece action as we know it up here, couldn't get further from the Munster style if you tried!

Well the word "boring" did prop up frequently, so maybe not so much Munster as we now know them.....I suppose it's not good that NSW showed him the door and the players pretty much want him to walk also

Better snap him up before they reappoint him :p.

The man is record as a coach is certainly more than worthy of consideration for the job, he has reached two super 14 semi final and a final while in charge of the Waratahs and to be fair they were terrible when he took over 4-5 years ago..

You would think the way the aussie media have been going on that they have been propping up the table this year, when they have in fact finished second and earned a home semi final despite their poor start to the season.

Obviously as we all know, despite being relatively successful, not playing sexy rugby is a considered one of the most henious crimes in Australia.

    The solution:
Mr Knox for Waratahs head coach
    :pac:.

    Eh no thanks to knoxie.

    Terrible start to the season?
The bandwagon media were calling for his head 6 games into the season, when we had lost 2 games, both in new zealand, 1 against the crusaders and 1 against the chiefs. And the loss to the chiefs was by a whisker. Far from outrageous to only get a losing bonus point from those 2 fixtures.
The other reason the media were calling for his head was the so called boring rugby that NSW play. Now given that the fly half, one centre and two wingers were in either in their debut or second season of S-14 and we have a pack of mostly wallabies, it would be stupid not to play a forward based game until the back line syncs. Which they have. Second half of the season we were spreading the ball a lot more.
Of course now we have a home semi, the exact same people who were calling for his head a few months ago are calling the NSWRU a disgrace for not reappointing him.
The players did not want him gone.
And the waratahs have one of the best lineouts in the comp.
