the "adult" mags idea was recommended by more than one of my friends... although I hear the women out there are hot enough as it is!! maybe it will help him make friends

dont bother getting him anything gadgety cause its out there and cheaper than here, unless ya wanna get him a digtal camera for the trip over etc...

get him a good oul poster for his wall! your never stuck for stuff out there its very well established at this stage!

I would give him a card saying don't let Serbia see this, and it would actually be hand written letter to the Kosovan Government telling them that the Irish are on their side. Only Joking seriously just get him something to remind him of home like a Photograph of you and your friends all together, it may sound cheesy but when your away from your friends and family for awhile you just want to be reminded of what they still look like

Barrys and Lyons tea bags...NO LIPTON WE HATE LIPTON!

Teaspoons...severe shortage.

Nuts,Zoo,FHM, Loaded Magazines (Preferably with Posters)

Any Newspaper (real ones not the photocopy jobs)

DVD recordings of GAA matches or the Sunday Game (the Sunday Game we can get on the net but not everyone gets to see it as they might not be in camp that night)

A bottle opener

Soft Drink/Beer Bottle/Can coolers...the foamy things you put the can in to keep it cold

Hawaiian Tropic Coconut Oil or the factor 2 oily stuff (war is hell)

Ireland flag stickers to barter for other nations Shoulder Flashes

Stringy things that go on your sunglasses to keep them around your neck

Anything that involves Homer Simpson or has his image on it

and the crips Meanies and Banshee Bones.

Thats all I can think of. If you were to send any of the above to your friend you'd be a legend.
