    Need a little help.

Bought a car last week, from a friend of mine. However there is one problem, the logbook (RF101) has already been filled out with a provisional owners details (the sale didn't go ahead).

I was wondering if I could fill out an RF200 form, staple it to the RF101 and send it off with a note stating what the circumstances are, or would I have to get the seller to obtain a new logbook?

    Many thanks.

you can just tippex it out and write over it,

you wouldn't believe the number of cars I trade in where the original owner has filled out their own details on the back!

    That was your first mistake:D:D

But seriously, what Colm said. My friend did this when he got the VLC for his cas and when I pointed out the actual instructions to him he felt like an absolute tool...rightly so. But just tippex it.
