New Laptop for light gaming, music

My current laptop has poor battery life and the screen is damaged. I have many problems with it so I'm thinking it would be an idea to get a new one.

I'm looking on Laptops direct and there are some good deals but I still haven't found the laptop for me. The best one is an Acer Gemstone, but its' 16" and kinda heavy, I'd prefer 15.4" and lighter.

My current Gfx card is a Geforce Go 7600, it absolutely must be better than that. I'll want to be playing Starcraft 2, C&C Red Alert 3 and GTA IV when they come out.

Is it worth going for a gaming laptop though with a good card? are there really that many good PC games coming out. When I first got this laptop it was a no brainer, Oblivion was enough of a sell and Bioshock was coming out soon. But I'm not into RTSes or GTA enough for those to do it for me. I'm thinking about getting a 360 instead, but then I'll still need to get a new laptop, or get this one repaired.

    I'm unsure what to do.

Are there any good sites to check other than laptopsdirect.ie?

Also what laptops are good for sound editing, and perhaps durable and light enough to use as part of a synth set-up?
