    Hi,
Has anyone noticed that some of the greens this year are really poor??
I played in South County last night and the greens are completly rubbish:eek:, I said it to the guys in the shop and he gave me my money back. Stay away if you want a decent game this year!

I played on Dublin City and although the condition of the greens was ok, some of them were so fast they were unplayable.

The same applied to Dublin Mountain - on the third I hit a good wedge to the right hand edge of the green and the ball rolled off the other side of the green. My putt back up the hill stopped one foot short and then rolled back to 4 feet away. The same thing happened to my wedge shot on the 4th - there was only one way of holding the green and that was to play short left of it and chip up the hill. Ok the rest of the greens were ok but those two holes were silly.

Sorry but I guess you meant greens in poor condition. These weren't poor......just too fast.
