I'm having problems with a flaky eircom BB connection does anyone know of any good software that would monitor when the line was up and down?

Windows / Linux / MAC based software. Your router should also show uptime as well as kaizer says below, but Ive seen some that don't

The router should be keeping logs that you can check or do you want 'live' monitoring?

www.pingplotter.com . Sends a ping every 15 seconds (or whatever you set) and plots it as a graph. Shows downtime this way.

Just look at your stats on the Eircom broadband support page (you need your account and phone number to view) - that will show you the disconnects.
