you mean the Nokia/Irish Times monthly competition?

Hmm - they usually publish the photos online after a week has past from the official publication date...

It's taken me 6 tries to make it into the "Highly commended" section - at this point I'm actually dumbing myself down (supposedly) to try and appeal to the sort of photos they seem to want (every so often). Of course there have been some great winners too in the past (Valentia included ) - so don't let the fact that you didn't win get you down.
