    FREEVIEW Signal

    For the last couple of years I have been using a Freeview Digital TV Set Top Box in Wexford.
    Up to recently I received all the BBC’s, ITV’s. C4, E4, More4, Film4,
    Channel 5, Sky News, and a selection of Music, Kids, News and Shopping channels. All perfectly clear.

    A couple of months ago I lost Five Life, Five US, and Sky News, Sky Sports News. I put it down to a weak signal. I have scanned regularly since, hoping they would return, but nothing so far.

    Anyone else lost stations on FREEVIEW.
    Or knows why they’re gone, or how to get them back.:eek:

    It can take a few scans to get all channels.

    I think the total is 88. This afternoon it was brought to my attention Channel 5 was missing. It took 2 auto scans to get it back.

    Probably interference from the Mount Leinster test transmissions. The channels you lost are broadcast on channels 39 and 45, which are frequencies used by Mount Leinster.

    Out of interest where are you picking your Freeview signals from? N. Wales?

    :eek::eek:I have no idea. I just bought the box in Tesco Uk. you can also buy them on the net very cheap about €30. reception is very clear in Wexford. Its just pluged into the ariel. It also picks up about 20 radio stations.
