    whoa there!

Basing your career decision on how much you get paid straight out of college is utter madness. Think about what you want to do, what you think you'd be good at, what you enjoy doing. Its not all about the money:)

    +1
Op I wanted to be a computer programmer purely to make money.

I work in a technical area but little did I know the pure hatred I would have for writing code . I get paid well now but I couldnt sit down and do a 9-5 writing code.

    Think about what you enjoy.

Well, once you complete the YEARS of exams and study then you will be paid quite well. It is definitely up there with one of the hardest profession to qualify for.

Getting out of college you'll probably get approx 30k. Once you qualify, years in the future, you'll make a lot.
You have to study about 20 hours a week every week until you qualify, which, as I said, takes years.

If you're not sh1t hot with maths, forget it.
