I wouldent rush out and buy it just yet if you are looking for DTT.

Also this may be informative (note UK system ≠ RoI system)

Had one of these for awhile but I only used the analog functions (no DTT reception in the Dublin city center most of the times I had tried). Great tuner though...

As for the PS3 question, I'm not sure what outputs the PS3 has (I have an Xbox 360) but the Eye TV tuners (not only the hybrid) mostly only have S-Video and Composite inputs, which means standard definition only. Even if you could connect the PS3 via composite (which is the only likely scenario), it would be a waste really, as you would not be getting the HD output of the PS3...

Odd that, works perfectly in South County Dublin. I know that's closer to Three Rock but not all that much closer!

I could also get it to work in Blanchardstown but never in the city center - maybe the fact that the area is more built-up has something to do with it? Not that DTT is really worth it - at least for me - in Ireland at the moment...

If you have access to an NTL cable you can plug that in and select DTT, works perfectly and mobile phones seem to interfere far less too :D
