Sometimes it is the same people or an additional person. If you have been called for a second interview its because they believe you could do the job. Now you've just got to convince them. Use your past experience etc to show why you can do this job and keep referring to their job spec. Normally only a handful will be selected for second interviews so you've a good chance!

basically I have been offered a 3 month contract starting june as a manufacturing operator in a pharma company but having looked at my cv they want to interview me for a position within the lab(i have a diploma in chemistry and one years actual lab exp) and since I have been though their interview process for the operator position which included 2 interviews and an aptitude test they said they said they would consider this a second round interview for the lab position, I havent actually been interviewed for the lab role yet but considering this wont affect the job i was offered in the company if im unsuccessful with the lab interview I have decided to go for it as I have nothing to lose the job spec is quite basic so Im just going to prepare by going over my cv,usualy hr questions and skills such as team work communications ,working to deadlines etc and how I have coped or demonstarted these in the past
