Is it just me or can anyone log into Paypal? I'm trying to pay for an ebay auction and all I'm getting is a "Page not found" all morning.
    Ta.

Working fine for me. Smart telecom in Limerick, using OpenDNS.

Thanks for checking. Seems to be a Firefox problem for me - working fine in Internet Explorer 7.

    describes it pretty well
here is some of the text

    Hi All,

Paypal rolled out a disastrous update on 15 May. Ongoing problems affect
both customers AND merchants and this mail is being sent as a warning.

    Some of the problems include:

. The Paypal Handling Cart feature completely broke down
. Cross border payments could not be made as the drop down country list did
    not work
. Customers have been flooded with hundreds of duplicate subscription emails
    from Paypal
. Payments from Paypal are no longer associated with the relevant
    subscriptions
. Some customers have been and are being DOUBLE BILLED by Paypal
. Merchants have not been receiving instant payment notifications or failure
    notifications
. Merchants/customers are unable to cancel subscriptions

    ....

These problems affect merchants because of the damage to your reputation,
the loss of revenue and the loss of customers.

If you make any subscription payments by Paypal I would suggest checking
your account to see if you have been double billed. We have one customer who
has now been charged THREE times this month for the same payment.

    .....

We have posted a blog about this topic to warn our members about the
problems and I felt that it would be a good idea to let other Irish
merchants know about the problems too - the story does not appear to have
made it into the Irish media. The full blog post can be read here:
