    Alright Lads,

    Quick one,

My Windows XP Pro Machine keep stalling on the boot screen. (XP Logo & Blue Scrolling Bar).

The PC boots fine into safe mode, So am I right to assume its driver related?
Restore or OS Reinstall aint an option unfortunatly :(

    Cheers,
    Paul

sounds like something deleted some dll's. maybe a virus.

since re-install isnt an option, look up xp recovery methods (not that you havent already!( there should be a bootable disk for xp that lets you reload it to when it was working ok) like recovery for m.e. could be wrong though. sorry if i am!

all else fails, look for a quick copy of xp off a mate, when it goes to install click recover mode. although, you should probably back up all your stuff to a new hard drive! if its a pc, get the harddrive, change the jumpers to slave, hook it up to another pc via hdd cable and copy what you want. if its a lappy then you could get a pc repair centre to look at it for you. although this may be the best option in both circumstances anyways.
