The Arklow Arts Festival is held in Arklow, Co. Wicklow, Ireland
26th of May to the 2nd of June and comprises of a week long festival with the following activities on the program.:

* 2 days Film Festival,
* 1 night of Comedy,
* 3 Nights of live music (Arklow Rugby Club)
* Earth Festival
* 3 days of Artistic and Cultural Workshops
* Food & Market stalls
* Street Spectacle Entertainment

ARKLOW ARTS FESTIVAL PROGRAM MAY 26 - JUNE 02

* Monday 26 May: Film .The Arklow Arts Festival have secured two internationally acclaimed films:The Irish Film 'Kings' starring Colm Meaney and the Polish film 'JESZCZE RAZ'(ONE MORE TIME), a Polish comedy.The Festival committee is hosting an Opening Dinner @ the Deja-Vu Restaurant with afterwards the screening of the Film 'KINGS' in the Gaiety Cinema.Tickets available online or ring 0868745075.Tickets cost 40euro for the 3-course dinner with entry for the film included.The dinner starts at 6pm sharp in the Deja Vu Restaurant,Bridge street Arklow.Film starts at 7.30pm
* Tickets for the screening of the Film 'KINGS' only cost 8euro.The film 'KINGS"',directed by Tom Collins ,was Irelands first ever entry in the OSCARS in the film category.Tickets for the screening of 'KINGS" only cost 8 euro and are available only through the Arklow Arts Festival and selected shops.The screening of the film 'KINGS' is organised by the Arklow Arts Festival and therefor the tickets will not be available in the cinema.

* Tuesday May 27 FILM 'JESZCZE RAZ'(one More Time)The screening of the Polish film JESZCZE RAZ starts at 7.30pm sharp in the Gaiety cinema ,Arklow.The Film is organised by the Arklow Arts Festival and tickets are only available through the Arklow Arts Festival on 0868745075 selected shops or our online booking page.Tickets cost 8euro.The film is a Polish comedy,released in 2008 and stars Mariusz Malec.
* TICKETS FOR BOTH FILMS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE TROUGH THE ARKLOW ARTS FESTIVAL COMMITTEE AND SELECTED SHOPS AND WILL NOT BE SOLD IN THE GAIETY CINEMA!
* Wednesday May 28 Official opening of Exhibition at the ARKLOW VISUAL ARTS CENTRE(FREE)
* Thursday May 29 COMEDY NIGHT@THE MARY B. with Kathleen O'Rourke and Gearoid Farrelly.Watch Kathleen here in the Liffey Laughs Comedy Festival. Watch Gearoid here in the Angelic Banana Comedy Festival.Tickets cost 10 euro and are available from the festival committee or phone 0868745075
* Friday May 30 Arklow Town: Various gigs around Arklow Town in Pubs
* Saturday May 31: Live Music Festival with 13+ Bands.Gates open at 11am Tickets cost Euro21.50 and are available on 0868745075, online or trough ticket resellers.This is the day everybody is waiting for.The music festival will be held on the Grounds at the Oval, Arklow Rugby Club situated North of Arklow and features the following Bands on our mainstage with the ALPHASTATES headlining.The festival will include loads of activities and (work)shops and stalls

* Monday June 2: Earth Festival 11am-6pm free admission.A true festival atmosphere free for all.Stalls,workshops live bands, B and the Honeyboys and open mic on our second stage
