Hey, i have an MMC card that came with my phone that i can pop into the SD card slot of my laptop, i use it to throw podcasts and stuff onto the phone...

It works away grand in Windows, but i tried it today on Ubuntu for first time, as soon as i popped the card in it showed up in a new folder, i could see all the files and such, but i couldn't add anything to it or delete anything from it because it was telling me that the disk was read only...

How can i change this? Or is it possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I would have expected it to mount read-write.

Could you open a Terminal, type mount and paste the line for your SD card up here.
