I downloaded the latest version of firefox to my Mac Mini the other day and have regretted it ever since. It is continually crashing and is generally very unstable.
    Is anyone else having problems?

What does your crashreporter -->firefox.log say?

What do you consider to be the latest version??

Personally I'm running 3.0 beta 5 (which apparently has reached release candidate status, so later today expect 3.0 rc1)

I know the latest flash plugin caused issues with firefox, definitely on windows but can't remember on Mac.

I've actually noticed quite a few issues with Firefox 2 & 3 lately as well...

Loading pages takes ages compared to Safari, and opening a new tab or loading a page frequently results in the spinning beach ball of death..

It is very annoying as Firefox was long my favourite browser...

    Same here!

i'm going to suggest 2 alternatives

    1) Camino.........its deadly!

    2) for those that don't mind, or want to, be at the bleeding edge of development (a new build practically every day).. Webkit

    i use both
