    Kanda Bongo Man, the Soukous superstar of the continent of Africa, has dazzled audiences worldwide with his music and infectious Congolese dance style.

    Soukous, otherwise known as the African Rumba, is a fusion of African Traditonal Music and Latin American rhythms. Kanda Bongo Man is credited as being one of the pioneers of modern Soukous and is renound for his exciting and fast moving shows of music and dance. His music is driven by optimism and happiness, as illustrated by one reviewer who said; "Kanda Bongo Man sure knows how to have fun. This is some of the most joyous music I've ever heard.” He was described by John Peel as being the highlight of Glastonbury Festival in 2003.
