    Actually, I have two questions:

    1) UK rc shops sell channels 55-90 , MACI only listed 60 - 85 ...
are ch 55-59, 86-90 legal in Ireland ?

    2) all my planes are on ch78. quite often there is someone else flying on same channel ... also my single conv. fm receiver picks up signal from +/-1 channels (77,79) :(

so, what channel are you using ?

    For Flying models:
    60 to 85 is FM35 band A
The other channels are FM35 band B. B is now legal in Ireland, but is recent.
Ch 86 and over isn't legal here, or I suspect in UK.

me? I'm on ch 79 for my crystal based models.
My newer models (receivers and MC-22 transmitter) are synthesized and so are channel selectable, on 35FM. It's great. Nobody is on the 35B channels here. So I choose at will from those with those particular models.
The advanatage for me of the 35FM synthesized is all my old 35FM crystal stuff still works with the new radio ... if I had got 2.4 gigs, my older receivers would have been useless with it.

I'm using Futaba T7C 2.4GHz, no idea of any other details, this is all new to me, but I like the 2.4GHz way more than I did with the 35MHz I had, I used to get glitches on the servos with the 35MHz, I found that out from just having the heli powered up and not touching anything, the servos were making glitching noises.

with the 2.4GHz, there's nothing at all when I don't touch the TX or the Heli.

I used to get glitches on the servos with the 35MHz,

What type receiver did you use, PPM or PCM?

    It was a PPM

There is your problem, from what I gather you have a t-rex 450V2 which comes with carbon frames, right! Well if this is correct, you need a PCM Rx when using carbon frames, this is more crucial for bigger birds like the 600's, but could explain why you were getting glitches on a 450 size..

Also you state that you are using the Futaba T7C 2.4GHz, are you fimilar with the issue futaba had with there 2.4ghz system. Not sure if it affects your radio.

I was getting glitches with the HBK2 as well with the same Tx Rx, it was a plastic frame, could be just a bad Tx.

yea I'm aware of that issue, I bought a good while after that, hopefully mine is safe.
