i mean band that are out there at the moment not bands like led zepplin or whatever.

"out there" at the moment… I assumed by classic rock you meant 70s stadium rock bands. so you mean classic rock as a music genre? What would define a contemporary band as classic rock?

I don't know if you'd class them as "rock" but I love Boss Volenti at the moment. Their drummer is unreal - his drum solos are so energetic and the lead singer reminds me of Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal...
