Setanta Sports 1 Question - Please Help Me.

    This is my Problem. I am thinking about subscribing to Setanta Sports with My Sky U.K. Subsciption, but can not get a signal on My EPG listings as i am abroad. But i can get a signal if i add this channel to other channels on the following Transponder. 11.585 H 27500. Please help me if you have Setanta in the U.K. please add this frequency and tell me if your can view this channel Setanta Sports 1 in Other channels with this frequency 11.585 H 27500. on My Sky U.K. Sub

    Cheers mate. What subscription have you got is it Setanta U.k. or Setanta Ireland.

    Dont know if its any help as im in ROI but i ave an active subscripton to Setanta Sports and when i tune it into other channels it says programe not available
    Is it not on your main EPG AFAIK you dont have to have a Sky subscription to subscribe to Setanta, I think Setanta just send you a new card although i am open to correction on that

    Setanta 1 in Ireland is different to Setanta 1 in the UK . The UK setanta sports has alot less then in Ireland .

    Setanta Sports 1 in Ireland and the UK are virtually identical with the exception of Saturday 3pm football when the Premier League is on. A lot of sports on Setanta Ireland however is blocked to the UK.

    430 - Setanta Sports 2
    432 -Racing UK
    433 - Racing World
    434 - Setanta Ireland
    435 - Setanta News

    Setanta Ireland is
    429 - Setanta Ireland
    430 - Setanta Sports 2
    432 - Live Racing
    433 - Racing World
    434 - Setanta Sports 1
    435 - Setanta News

    None of you probably care less about this so it is ideal for the completely useless information section.

    Edit: Any reason why the EPG is different for UK and Ireland Sky card?

    And for anyone with a Setanta UK account and a GAA follower,
    Saturday / Sunday Game Live is FTV with 436 (Celtic TV) sometimes being used. Next weekend looks being interesting!

    Come to think of it nearly everything is currently FTV for Setanta UK account holders.

    Also....you cannot watch LIVE GAA on Setanta 1 or 2, except in the UK. In otherwords, if you are in Ireland and RTE are showing it, you have to watch it on RTE even if Setanta are advertising it.

    I cannot see the problem with that as RTÉ have a better picture quality.
