If you join Sky Satellite from now and until the end on May you get half price Sky TV for your first two months on whatever package you choose.
    Ring 0818 719 838 quoting "introduce a friend".
If you then give me your new contract number I can ring Sky giving them both yours and my contract number. I will then get 75euro from Sky for introducing you. Yes I am in this to make money but you end up with Sky. Please PM if interested. Thanks:D

It's funny that you can avail of half price Sky tv for your first 2 months until 31st of may without being introduced by a friend,as seen on skyireland.ie
    :p

Introduce a friend is a total con.
If you get a Sky + box deal you have to connect it to the phoneline even as the original customer who may be subscribing for years.

Sky + or 75 euro deals both lock the person who introduced back into a 12 month contract.
Grand if you know you will want to subscribe for another year.

    The offer doesn't work!!!

I referred a friend last year - phoned numerous times about the cheque - 14 months on, still no cheque!

I'm not the only one either - a mate of mine referred a friend - no cheque! (That was this year!)

I got my cheques for the March promotion. Don't think I've been locked into another year either.

I got my free Sky+ box, that promotion was on in Feb/March. I introduced a guy from work he got his free box, then when he was installed I had to ring again with his account number, within a week I got a letter with a reference number and within another week I had Sky+. If they are not honouring the €75 cheques threaten legal action.

Veryinterested, were you charged Standard installation of 45 euros?.
That's what it says on my letter.
I don't need to pay them 45 euros to put two coax leads in the back of the receiver as well as a scart.
If you accept any Sky offer like this, it almost always it involves being locked into a 12 month contract again.
    Read T&C's.

Sorry just seeing this now, yes, I paid €45 which covered installation of Quad LNB, extra cable from dish to STB, was happy to pay it for the work done.

We introduced a friend for the free sky+ box offer a couple of months back. When we rang they told us to ring back after the friend got their first bill. When we rang back again, they asked for a contract number. Neither of us were given a contract number. I gave them names, addresses, account numbers and they claimed they had no record of us applying for the introduce a friend offer. I think Sky are trying to wriggle out of their end of the deal. Did this happen to anybody else?
