    What's the story with the network this year? Even using a network cable my connection's on and off all day. Wireless has been terrible all year, and half the feckin computers in the hamilton don't work! Nightmare getting anything printed or going online!

    Do ya always have to do the network administration thing when you log on using a cable? I have to do this every time!

    Yes, and mine doesn't work half the time which is exceptionally annoying. I was completely disconnected from the net from yesterday afternoon til this afternoon, which made procrastination exceptionally difficult.

    Don't get me going about that stuff-finding it harder and harder. I've read every topic on boards of any interest!

    It appears tcdnac (that thing where it counts down 40 seconds etc.) is down. So all wired library and residence connections are kaput for the moment.

    Has anyone contacted ISS about?

    Mine is working at the moment, though I haven't had to reconnect since 4 ish. But tcdnac was down for me from yesterday at 6 til today at 4.
