I am really looking forward to game 1 next wed. The Maroons look very strong this year. I think I'll wait until the 4pm repeat on setanta 2....it should be an entertaining evening of sports watching with the champions league final as well.

Didn't see the game myself, but sound like a good win for NSW.

It was on Setanta Ireland, was delighted!

Some good games from the debut players in particular, Quinn scored two lovely tries and made some big hits.

At times the standard wasn't great, but it was an entertaining game, particularly when compared to last year's series.

It could well be repeated on Setanta at some stage, they were showing Channel 9's coverage of it.

Wow thats interesting that Setanta covered this!

I watched it in the most surreal of scenarios in a hick bar in a 2 horse town 2 hours north of Townsville.

A haggard old woman with a limp served us pots of XXXX of course, while a freak with the biggest handle bar moustache sipped Lambrusco wine at the bar. A few aboriginols heckled the lack of blacks in the Maroans squad( phonetic: weirdness of QLD pronunciation) and a few kids played pool on a ROUND pool table.

Serious clamour for Scotty Prince to be in the squad and he had a good game today to stregthen his case. Falou on the other wing also. NSW looked great so much slicker and the off load passing was great.

The QLD break out toward the end could have been the stuf of ligends !
    Heres to the Suncorp rematch.

Looking forward to irelands involvement in the RLWC but none of their games will be here unless they progress, I dont know much about them, doed any one?

I guess they have as much chance makng the semis as any one else as only 3 nations really play league any way....
