Hi folks quick question i hope you can answer.

I'm flying to new york on june 3rd for 2 weeks. Flying out to amsterdam then from there to jfk. I have stupidly only allowed for 1hr 15 between my flight landing in Schiphol and my next flight. Now i'm not too worried about getting to the gate on time but i am worried about having to fill in the visa application before boarding the flight to jfk.

I know in Dublin airport they have you fill it out before you get on the plane. Is it the same in Amsterdam? Could i fill it out in Dublin then hand it in before boarding my flight to the US in Amsterdam (or even hand it in in Dublin?)

I've tried ringing Aer Lingus to see what the story is but i just get the run around from the automated services while trying to find the correct department to talk to.

Dublin is the only place you have pre-clearing for US Immigration. Every where else you do it when you land at your arrival airport. Staff will give you the forms on the plane and you fill them out on it for inspection when you land.

You won't be clearing immigration etc until you reach JFK - so you can fill in the forms during the flight :)
