Anyone know about VPN??

hey guys,

i recently decided to see if i could watch content from the website Hulu. this site is restricted to people in the usa only (which sucks) but i managed to get around it using an app called HOTSPOT SHIELD. give it a go its really good.

however for some reason hotspot shield stops working for me :mad: but still works fine for my friends. i was wondering does anyone know how this app allows you to view hulu and are their other apps or is their a way to configure the same effect in sys pref?

help would be really appreciated as i am way out of my depth in terms of understanding what all this stuff is. also if i could be pointed to a non wiki site with info it would be great:)

They could potentially inject anything they wanted into the HTTP stream. They could also look through the traffic for passwords etc, if you were dumb enough to log into anything through them.
