Nice shot. Do you have a colour version? That drawbridge thing is lit up in really nice colours at night these days.

Thought colours weren't enough to keep myself - B+W enhanced the lighting

I like the tones in the steelwork on the col version. Shame about the vehicle lights though.

The vehicle lights make it for me.

I'd imagine the lights also had an impact in the way the ironwork appears lit in the shot too.

The Glendalough one is too grey and lifeless for my liking - it reminds me a little of some of those 'finding ghosts' programmes where they assault the eyes with footage from night vision equipment (which has the benefit of not being able to clearly see the props department scuffle around creating those 'ghosts'). Anyway - not great by my reckoning (as if that were a real reckoning :D )

The second at the IFSC i really like in both Colour and Black / White. Its really one which you should print and mount on your living room or hall wall. Really nice. Well done.

Nice shots, If you are going back to IFSC try taking one further over to the right, looking left toward the ironwork. this would get the cars brake lights in the shot and might change the colour totally?

the Glendalough one looks like you were using a flash light ti light the church but ran out of time :D

The Ifsc one is brilliant I think love the colour one too. It looks like it could be part of some thing enormous cool shot

Yep i agree, i was actually taking a pic of that same bridge thingy a few months ago in the night and i think i was using something like a 20second shutter speed, then this truck drove by and i was cursing him for spoiling my photo but when i got home and looked at them on the PC it added a nice effect to it and i liked it.,:D

IFSC is a great shot. Looks even better in colour.

Glendalough the tower looks over exposed. Not sure about it.
