on my Classic Army M4, there are 2 short steel pins which hold the top reciever in place on the main body. half the pin sits into the reciever and half into the body. all they do is stop the up/down movement of the back of the reciever.

Now i cant remember where i left the two off my gun and for all i know they could be in my house/bag/shoes/car or they could be in MIA's bin or at HRTA.

So does anyone have any spare or know of anything small enough to fit?

I used to have loads from my Nitro RC Cars but havn't any left.

Its approx 1 cm long steel rod and about 2/3mm thick.

no, i mean two tiny silver pins that hold the two halfs of the gun together. think of a piece of dowel rod holding to pieces of wood together. only alot smaller.
they go half way into two little holes just above the gearbox at the back of the gearbox and the other half of the pins go into holes at the back of the upper reciever.

If you look at this exploded diagram, look at the back of the upper reciever and there is two small pins sticking out. when you slide the upper reciever onto the main body of the gun, these two pins go into holes at the back of the main body. into the inside edge of where the stock tube would join on.

the red line from part number M16200648M points to the upper reciever where the two pins are sticking out.

you're the third person i've found in 2 weeks with that problem, i must look into maybe putting a little superglue on mine.it should be brittle enough to allow me to remove the pin if i need to.

they didnt fall out or anything. i took them out and put them somewhere safe and forgot where i put them when i came to putting them back. the gun was stripped down for over a month.

So anyone know where they can be got? or what can be used instead of them?

PS : If you are going to glue them in, i'd suggest gluing to the reciever rather then to the body as if you wanna strip the gun, they wont be in the way at all if still attached to the reciever.

came up with a solution, get two of the large paper clips (the ones that are about 2 inches long and half an inch wide) and the metal is thick enough to fit. just snip the flat section out long enough to fit. now just need to get a second one.
