Hi all. Sorry if this has been asked before.

My 1st provisional expires on the 7th June, and my test is on the 24th. I plan to renew it, obviously. The thing is, on the letter with my date it says licenses must be held for a minimum of 6 months before the date of the test. I thought this only applied to the 1st learner permits which is why I wasn't too fussed about renewing my license but now I'm freaking out. Will I be unable to do my test now? I've been driving for 2 years in total and have got over a years insurance.

The 6 months is measured from the time you get your first license so you're fine. I'd renew your license before it expires just to be certain that you have your new license before the test.

Brilliant! I'm renewing it next week so should have it in time for the test! Can't see it taking a month!
