Schmap Guides want to use one of my photos.. for free

    ... but at least they asked I guess.
    I got this and its certainly not one of my favs by any means

    What do you guys think? No harm in letting them use it I guess. It was only taken on an old nikon compact a few years ago

    At the end of the day they're making money from your photo. I give great leeway for free use of my photos, except when another person wants to make money from them.

    I had two in Schmap from Finland. They seem to pick photos that are not the favourite so you would be more agreeable to use it. I have though received other mails through Flickr as a result of the photo being on Schmap. Its not the be all and end all for me that they use it. Any friends looking for advice on a city break I send them to Schmap and they are impressed to see my photo on it!
